St. Mary's Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

ALL Episcopal women are considered members of the ECW.  (Some are just inactive members.)  We have two guilds, St. Mary's and St. Martha's.  St. Mary's meets in the daytime while St. Martha's  meets in the evening or on weekends.

In the last five years, we have nearly completed the restoration of our first church, which is now used as and referred to as our Chapel.

"THE HISTORY OF ST. THOMAS"

We have completed the research and publication of our church history which covers the years 1868-1998.  These books are available for purchase from the church office.

   Angel Gowns Project

At the request of nurses in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Neo-Natal Unit of Memorial Hospital St. Mary's Guild, makes gowns for babies and small children who don't survive.  The gowns are usually used for burial but an "angel pin" which is attached to each gown are sometimes kept by the families.  We also give the family a camera with film so to have a remembrance photograph of their child.

An Open Invitation to You.....

The St. Mary's Guild does not hold formal meetings just now.  But we would be happy to have interested women join us to form a more robust club.
